    After a long, troubled period of ill-health, the Works is finally working again.
    The below images show a BR 1/017 3 Plank Medium wagon, a continuation of the auld LMS 3 Plank design.
    Surprisingly, some of these BR built wagons never received vacuum braking, as seen here.

    An auld relic...

    Recently, I have been lucky enough some auld items of stock via a well known on line trading concern. They come from the collection of well known EM modeller, Derek Evans. They are not without their issues, with parts missing and a good deal of finishing required.
    Below is the first item in the repair/finishing shop, an auld D&S kit for a Gresley 32ft pigeon/brake van. The handrails, door handles, brakes and so on need addressing for starters. Mind, the basic bodyshell and underframe are pretty sound.
